In this case study we will show you the process and result of a corner sofa cleaning. The client wanted sofa cleaned and stains removed if possible. The sofa wasn’t in bed condition apart from the stain you are seeing on the picture bellow .
Our Approach
The first step in our sofa cleaning process is to evaluated the sofa’s fabric, identifying specific stains, wear patterns, and any areas requiring special attention. By doing so we could make a plan on what detergents to use to achieve the best possible result.
The Pre-treatment
First we have vacuumed the sofa under the cushions to remove the dirt by using our carpet cleaner.
Afterwards we pre sprayed the sofa with upholstery pre cleaning solution. Also we treated the stains with appropriate spot removal. Later, we treated the fabric by using our rotating brushes.
Hot Water Extraction Cleaning
The final step and actual cleaning was done with hot water extraction cleaning. We used a low PH detergent which is upholstery friendly. We washed the pillows and cushions first and finished with the sofa body. The high performing vacuums of the carpet cleaner extracted all dirt and dust from the fabric. The result was quite satisfying as you could see on the picture bellow.
Conclusion
The combination of a eco friendly detergent and a hot water extraction method not only achieved great cleaning results. Also, we cant be happier as we have clean, stain free sofa and very happy customer.
